Installation

Follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.

Operations

The node supports the following operations:

  • RAG Query: Execute Retrieval-Augmented Generation queries by providing query content or keywords to find relevant information in knowledge bases
  • Query File Chunks: Retrieve chunked content from a specific file, with pagination support

Credentials

To use the OneAI API, you need to set up the following credentials:

  • Base URL: The URL of your OneAI instance, e.g., https://your-oneai-domain.com/openapi
  • Client ID: Client ID created by the system administrator through the client management interface
  • Client Secret: Client Secret created by the system administrator through the client management interface
  • User Account: Corresponds to UserName in user management, typically an email address

You need to contact your OneAI system administrator to obtain the client ID and secret. Administrators can create credentials through the client management interface at {domain}#/super-admin/client-management.

Compatibility

This node requires n8n version 0.187.0 or later.

Usage

RAG Query Operation

This operation allows you to perform semantic search queries in your knowledge bases:

  1. Set up the query content or keywords (at least one must be provided)
  2. Optionally specify workspaces, number of results, minimum similarity, and other parameters
  3. Choose the search mode (hybrid, embedding-only, or full-text only)
  4. Run the workflow to get retrieval results

Query File Chunks Operation

This operation allows you to retrieve the chunked content of uploaded files:

  1. Provide the file ID
  2. Select the image format (Markdown or HTML)
  3. Set the page number and items per page
  4. Run the workflow to get the list of file chunks
