node-qrcode-generator-service

This repository contains a Node.js application that generates QR codes from provided text strings. The application uses the express framework for creating a web server and the qrcode library for generating QR codes. The server listens for incoming HTTP requests and responds with a QR code image based on the text provided in the request query parameters.

Installation

To get started with the node-qrcode-generator-service, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

     git clone https://github.com/yourusername/node-qrcode-generator-service.git
     cd node-qrcode-generator-service
  2. Install dependencies:

     npm install
  3. Start the server:

     node server.js

The server will start and listen on port 1994 by default.

Usage

To generate a QR code, navigate to the following URL in your web browser:

http://localhost:1994/generate?text=YourTextHere

Replace YourTextHere with the text you want to encode in the QR code. The server will respond with a webpage displaying the generated QR code.

Example

For example, to generate a QR code for the text "HelloWorld", navigate to:

http://localhost:1994/generate?text=HelloWorld
